Moderate rehabilitation of (2) two 6-story buildings for a total of 74,000 SF, with upgrades of plumbing, electrical systems. Installation of new gas risers, new roof, Low-E windows and roof top thermal panels. Replacement of all eighty-three (83) existing apartment bathrooms and kitchens, with energy efficient appliances, fixtures and lighting. The building qualified for the NYSERDA multi-family and weatherization grants to fund a portion of the energy upgrades. This was one of the first buildings in upper Manhattan where a solar thermal panel system was installed on the roof.
