Project Team
Moderate rehabilitation of two 6-story pre-war buildings totaling 31,600 SF, upgrades included all plumbing and electrical systems. Installation of new gas risers, new roof, and Low-E windows. Replacement of all existing kitchens and bathrooms fininshes, installaion of new energy-efficient appliances, plumbing and lighting fixtures. HPD, PLP and CPC green financing, WAP and NYSERDA funding are being used to implement energy efficiency measures, including replacement of the existing steam heating system with hot water heating. A portion of the energy upgrades were developed with the Northern Manhattan Improvement Corp. (NMIC) This project was also underwritten with enhanced J-51 benefits.
